Notorious criminal Gerard Mackin fails in crime cash sentence appeal

Gerard Mackin, with a former address in Limerick, has been unsuccessful in challenging his sentence for money laundering before the Court of Appeal. The appeal was dismissed on May 7th, 2024, with Mr Justice John Edwards upholding the three-and-a-half year prison term imposed by the Special Criminal Court in May 2023.
